The Adaptive Capacity Lab is currently learning from multiple systems and communities across Canada. These projects range from Polar Bears, Arctic Foxes, Snow Buntings and Eider Ducks in Inuit Nunangat, to Atlantic Salmon, Smallmouth Bass and Brown Trout in Unama’ki.

Our approaches also span wide-ranging methods, from behavioural telemetry and transcriptomics, to aerial drones and camera traps, to participatory modelling and place-based environmental education.
